Other Matters

What can I help with?

  • Contact St Helens or Knowsley Council about schools, planning and environmental concerns, children’s or adult’s services, highways and parking, or similar issues
  • Contacting local NHS providers about health matters
  • Raise concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour with the police
  • Assist local businesses and individuals with any problems they are facing e.g. employment issues
  • Requesting an update from the Home Office on an outstanding immigration application or issue
  • Connecting charities, organisations and businesses with each other who share a common interest
  • Raise issues with relevant Government Ministers or in Parliament (if other avenues have been exhausted)

Please note many agencies and organisations have their own formal complaints and appeals processes. I cannot intervene or help until all these channels have been exhausted

When all of these processes have been completed, it is possible for me to support a complaint to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO about UK Government departments and other UK public organisations. Please consult their website first for further information
