What can I help with?
Please note many agencies and organisations have their own formal complaints and appeals processes. I cannot intervene or help until all these channels have been exhausted
When all of these processes have been completed, it is possible for me to support a complaint to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO about UK Government departments and other UK public organisations. Please consult their website first for further information
What help can you provide?
I can ask on your behalf for your issue or complaint to be looked at and request an explanation
How long does it take to receive a response?
I generally receive a response from St Helens or Knowsley Council and other organisations in four weeks
I don’t live in the area but my relative does. Can you help?
I would be able to assess what assistance I can provide but I would first require your relative’s consent to act on their behalf
Can you offer me legal advice?
As a Member of Parliament, I cannot offer legal advice or interfere with legal proceedings
