On Holocaust Memorial Day 2024, Marie lighted a candle in memory of those who lost their lives during the worst crime against humanity.
The event took place at St Helens Town Hall and she joined political and civic leaders from the town.
Marie said: “It was honour to attend the Holocaust Memorial Day service at St Helens Town Hall, and to light a candle in remembrance.
“Nobody should ever be persecuted because they are Jewish or any other religion. Freedom of expression and religion, or none, is paramount in our society.”
