Marie was honoured to host an event for local veterans on 7th July 2023.
During the event, the group expressed their opinions on how veterans have been treated both nationally and locally.
Marie said: “I was lucky to be able to sit down with our veterans and discuss the challenges that they faced during their time serving, as well as their time back home.”
“The event was eye-opening to so many issues that we as a country must try to tackle in order to make our veterans feel appreciated for the sacrifices they have made, no current member of our forces should go without high-quality support systems.”
