During the debate on the mental health in Parliament, Marie raised the issue of men’s mental health.
Marie said: “Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50. I spoke in Parliament calling for a national mental health strategy that offers better and more accessible care.
“There also has to be a change in society so that men feel more open to talking about how they are feeling. Society needs to change to accept men who are free to be open.”
