St Helens town hall played host to the town’s world champions for a civic reception.
Saints and darts champion Michael Smith were honoured at the occasion.
Marie said: “It was a wonderful honour to be at the civic reception. Michael and the Saints lads have done our town proud.
“We have always been a town that punches above its weight and this has been proven once again. The achievements of both Saints and Michael will live long in the memory for us locals.”
