Ralph, a year 2 Cronton Primary School pupil, invited Marie to visit his school earlier this year.
Marie was delighted to accept the invitation and visit the school to meet Ralph and the rest of the school council.
During her visit, Marie was able to look around the school and speak with pupils about her role as a Member of Parliament.
Marie said: “It was wonderful to visit Cronton Primary School. I was invited by Year 2 pupil Ralph, who wrote a lovely letter to me earlier this year.
“It was great to meet Ralph and all of the school council. I was impressed with how knowledgeable they all are about many of the big issues effecting us all.”
Marie’s constituency stretches beyond the St Helens Borough and covers Whiston, Cronton and parts of Prescot.
