Marie was delighted to witness the historical address of Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in the House of Commons.
It was an emotional occasion that saw President Zelenskyy become the first foreign leader to address the Chamber.
Zelenskyy evoked the words of Churchill to express that Ukraine would “fight till the end,” and never surrender.
Marie Rimmer MP said: “It was an emotional occasion but a complete honour to listen to President Zelenskyy.
“The bravery, courage and leadership he has shown has not just united Ukraine, it has united the free and democratic world behind him.
“The Government must continue to provide all support possible to Ukraine. Each day we are seeing Putin’s Russia commit atrocities and war crimes. We must do all we can to stop it.”
